Setting roles and permissions for each service

For each user, you can set roles and permissions for some services on MiiTel Phone and MiiTel Analytics. This page provides details about the services that can be set with roles and permissions.

How to change settings

  1. Log in to MiiTel Admin with administrator privileges.
  2. Click User > User List.
  3. Click  ellipsis-v-light__1_.svg for the specified user, then click Edit.
  4. Names of the services and features available under the current contract will be displayed in Available services. Please refer to Services you can set roles and permissions and proceed with the settings.

Services you can set roles and permissions

MiiTel Analytics

You can set roles and permissions for the following features in MiiTel Analytics.

MiiTel Phone

You can set roles and permissions for MiiTel Phone.

  • Enable: Allow user to use MiiTel Phone.
    Users who are allowed to use MiiTel Phone will have the phone icon displayed in blue color (users who do not have permission will be displayed in gray color).

  • You can change this setting for MiiTel Phone accounts and the same number of users according to your contract.
  • Users, who do not have permission to use MiiTel Phone, can activate the application but they will not be able to log in to use the phone.
  • Monitoring, Whispering, and Group Calls are only available to users with this setting enabled.

MiiTel Phone Mobile

You can set roles and permissions for MiiTel Phone Mobile.

  • Enable:
    Users who are allowed to use MiiTel Mobile Phone will have the phone icon displayed in blue color (users who do not have permission will be displayed in gray color).

  • To set roles and permissions for this feature, a different contract needs to be agreed for MiiTel Phone Mobile. Please contact your sales representative or MiiTel Support.
  • Also, you will have to enable the roles and permissions for MiiTel Phone to change this setting.

MiiTel Callcenter

You can set roles and permissions for some features in MiiTel Callcenter.

  • Use dashboard: Setting that allows the user to display agent list, seat map, and monitor.
    Users who are allowed to use MiiTel Callcenter will have the mobile phone icon displayed in blue color (users who do not have permission will be displayed in gray color).

  • To set roles and permissions for this feature, a different contract needs to be agreed for MiiTel Callcenter. Please contact your sales representative or MiiTel Support.

MiiTel Live

You can set roles and permissions for MiiTel Live

  • Enable: Allow users to create MiiTel Live rooms.
    Users who are allowed to use MiiTel Live will have the Live icon displayed in blue color (users who do not have permission will be displayed in gray color).

  • To set roles and permissions for this feature, a different contract needs to be agreed for MiiTel Live. Please contact your sales representative or MiiTel Support.
  • You can change this setting for MiiTel Live accounts and the same number of users according to your contract.

MiiTel for Zoom

You can set roles and permissions for MiiTel for Zoom.

  • Enable: Allow users to use MiiTel for Zoom.
    Users who are allowed to use MiiTel for Zoom will have the Zoom icon displayed in blue color (users who do not have permission will be displayed in gray color).
