Notice: Additional Permissions for MiiTel Users

The following "service permissions" to be set for users will be added.
This addition will allow for finer control over the functions available to users.

Additional Permissions

The following permissions will be added to the "Service Permissions" section of the MiiTel Analytics > Settings > User Management > Edit screen.

1. MiiTel Phone > Permission to use

Set whether or not to allow users to use MiiTel Phone. Checked users will be able to use MiiTel Phone.
The following is the setting value for existing users when the setting is applied.

  • User with Caller ID: Checked (Allowed)
  • Users who do not have an outgoing phone number: Unchecked (Do not allow)
  • Users who do not have this checked will not be able to login to MiiTel Phone (including MiiTel Phone Mobile). Therefore, they will not be able to use all of the following features.
      Calling from MiiTel PhoneIncoming call to MiiTel Phone.
    • External call
    • .
    • Monitoring feature
    • Whispering feature
    • Three-way call function
    • .
  • Customers who do not have this checkbox will become "View Only Users" and will not be able to use the above MiiTel Phone features.

2. MiiTel Analytics > Call History CSV Download

Configure whether or not the user is allowed to use the "Download Call History CSV" feature from MiiTel Analytics.

  • Configuration applied to existing users: Checked (Allowed)

3. MiiTel Analytics > Call History Audio Download

3. MiiTel Analytics > Call History Audio Download

Configure whether the user is allowed to use the "Call History Audio File Download" feature from MiiTel Analytics.

  • Configuration applied to existing users: Checked (Allowed)

4. Miitel Analytics > Export Contacts CSV

Set whether the user is allowed to use the "Download Contacts CSV" feature from MiiTel Analytics.

    Configuration applied to existing users: Unchecked (not allowed)
  • When applying the feature, all users will not be able to "Download Contacts CSV". ( MiiTel Analytics > The "Export" button will not appear on the Contacts screen.)
    Please check the box to allow users to download.
