Incoming call blocking

For phone numbers that you do not want to receive calls, you can block these numbers by making a list of phone numbers.
*If you would like to block phone numbers for outgoing calls, please refer to Outgoing call blocking.

Make a list of phone numbers to block for incoming calls

First, you will create a list of phone numbers that you want to block for incoming calls.

You must create this list in order to make your blocking settings to be applied.
  1. Log in to MiiTel Admin. 
  2. Click Incoming > Incoming Call Blocking
  3. Click Add new blocked numbers list.

  1. After you enter the information in all of the following categories, click Save.

1Name: Enter the name of the list.

2Description: Enter the description of the list.

3Phone numbers: Enter phone numbers that you wish to block for incoming calls.

  • You cannot enter hyphens in phone numbers.
  • Enter 1 phone number per line.
  • A maximum of 500 phone numbers can be saved in each list.

Call blocking setting

  1. Log in to MiiTel Admin.
  2. Click Incoming > Incoming Call Blocking
  3. Click Call blocking setting (tab) > Add incoming call blocking setting

  1. After you enter the information in all of the following categories, click Save.

1Name: Enter the name of the call block setting for incoming calls.

2Description: Enter the description of this call block setting.

3Select a list: Select the phone number list you wish to block for incoming calls.

4Select a phone number: Select the phone number you wish to block calls from the phone number described in the selected list from step 3.

5Destination group name: Select the group you wish to block calls from the phone number described in the selected list from step 3.

After the above settings are applied, if the callers of the blocked phone number make a phone call to the phone number or user of the group to a phone number specified in the above settings, the call will be disconnected immediately.
