Cannot import a CSV file into Contacts.

If you are unable to import a CSV file into MiiTel Analytics Contacts, the following are possible causes. Please try each workaround.

The CSV file does not have the proper character encoding

If you get the above error message, there are two things you can try.

  • Set Shift-JIS or UTF-8 as the character encoding and create the CSV file again (if you are using machine dependent characters in categories, etc., please set UTF-8 as the character encoding)
  • Set the character encoding you set when creating the CSV file when configuring the import settings in MiiTel Analytics

    CSV file configuration format is incorrect

    If you receive the above error message, please make sure that the CSV file you are importing has the following structure.

    • The value does not contain "" and "'"

    You have exceeded the number of possible registrations

    If you are getting the above error message, please check the number of rows in your CSV file.

    If you receive the above error message, please check the number of lines in the CSV file and make sure that the total number of contacts and CSV files exceeds the number of contacts that can be registered.
