You will set the rules to send notifications to Slack channels that are integrated with MiiTel.
IMPORTANT
- Before you set the Slack notification rules, please set up the Slack channel integration.
Create and set the Slack notification rule
- Log in to MiiTel Admin.
- Click Third Party Integration > Slack.
- Click the Notification rules tab > Add new notification rule.
- After you set all of the following fields, click Save.
1Name: Enter the name of the notification rule
2Channel name: Set the Slack channel you want to receive the notifications. (This Slack channel must be integrated with MiiTel. You can't also set the channel that is already applied to another notification rule.)
3Circuit name: If you want to receive a notification when you made a call with a specified circuit or when you set up a circuit, please set the circuit name. (If you don't set this, all MiiTel circuits will be applied to this rule.)
4Notification trigger: Set the conditions of receiving the Slack notifications and the details of what you want to include in the notification. (You can select multiple conditions/options).
- At the start of an outgoing call
- At the end of an outgoing call
- At the start of an incoming call
- At the end of an incoming call
- When the speech recognition is completed
- When the speech recognition is completed (meeting)
- When an incoming call was missed
- When a new voicemail is being recorded
- When a new comment is registered
- When a new comment is registered (meeting)
- When the selected call memo is registered (You can set multiple call memos. You'll need to first create a call memo first.)
- When the selected call memo is registered (meeting) (You can set multiple memos. You'll need to first create a call memo.)
- When the selected keyword is registered (You can set multiple options. You'll need to first create a keyword.)
- When the selected keyword is registered (meeting) (You can set multiple options. You'll need to first create a keyword.)
- Include the speech recognition results (summary) (You'll receive a notification after the summary is created.)
- Include the account name
- Include the contact person name
- Include the customer's phone number
- Include the user's mention
After you finished setting the Slack notification rule, you'll receive a notification on Slack that includes the details of the setting. (Please refer to the sample image below.)
IMPORTANT
- If you changed the circuit name, you would also need to reset the Slack notification rule.
- For the language of the notification, the language that is set by MiiTel users will be applied.
- If you want to change the notification's language after setting the notification rule, you would need to reset the Slack channel integration and Slack notification rule after the user's (that will be applied to the notification rule) language settings are changed on MiiTel Admin.
- If you set Incoming call (Missed) in the incoming call rule but you didn't receive a Slack notification after a missed incoming call, please check I cannot receive missed call notifications on Slack.
Delete the Slack notification rule
- Log in to MiiTel Admin.
- Click Third Party Integration > Slack.
- Click the Notification rules tab.
- Click [
] on the notification rule you want to delete > click Delete.
- On the confirmation screen, click Delete.
After you delete the notification rule, you will receive the following notification on Slack.
