MiiTel Phone calls can be transferred to another MiiTel user.
How to forward calls
- Click Forward on MiiTel Phone.
- Click the user you want to transfer the call. (You will only see users who have permission to use the phone.)
- Click Transfer.
- Confirm that the user picked up the call, inform him or her of the details, then click End call.
- After you click End Call, the user you forwarded the call and the person who made the original call will be connected.
IMPORTANT
- If the status is not set as Available, you cannot receive internal calls or transferred calls from other users. However, if you enable the Incoming call settings for internal calls, you can receive these calls even if the status is not set as Available.
- You can wait up to 5 minutes to have another user pick up the transferred call. If the user does not answer after this ringing time, the call will return to the original call. If you want to cancel the transfer, click Cancel.
How to receive forwarded calls
- Click Answer.
- Inform the caller that you can receive the transferred call and wait for the caller to the call.
- When the caller ends the call, the transfer is completed. The caller will be switched to the person who made the original call.
