Uploading an audio file to MiiTel

If you want to play an after-hours or answering machine announcement on incoming calls, you can upload the audio file to MiiTel Analytics beforehand.

Register a sound

  1. In MiiTel Analytics [Settings]__________2019-10-01_18.33.51.png.
  2. Click on Sound Management.

  3. Click "+Create a new sound".

  4. Click the Choose File button and select the audio file you want to upload.

  • Sound files can be created using commercially available synthesized voice creation software, the voice recorder included with Windows 10, or recording software such as Audacity.
  • The maximum size of an audio file that can be uploaded is 8 MB.
  • Please create your audio file in Wave (.wav) or MP3 (.mp3) format (if you have an audio file in another format, please convert or recreate it).
  • If you want to incorporate the registered sound into the incoming call, you need to set the incoming call rule. For details, please see Incoming call rule management.
  1. Click the "Save" button.

After the uploaded audio is uploaded, the sound quality is automatically adjusted to a format that can be played back as telephone audio.

Modify sound information

This function allows you to edit the name of a sound file and its sound description that has already been uploaded to MiiTel Analytics.

  1. In MiiTel Analytics [set]__________2019-10-01_18.33.51.png.
  2. Click on Sound Management.

  3. Click the "Edit" button to the right of the sound you want to edit, and then click "Edit".

  4. After changing the "File name" and "Description", click the [Save] button.

Remove Sound

  1. In MiiTel Analytics [settings]__________2019-10-01_18.33.51.png.
  2. Click on Sound Management.

  3. Click the "Edit" button to the right of the sound you want to edit, and then click "Delete".

If the removed sound is set to an incoming rule, the action with the corresponding sound will be empty.
