If you would like the phone to play an announcement when you receive a call during non-business hours or use a specific voice message as your voicemail, prepare and upload an audio file to MiiTel Admin.
Upload an audio file
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signinand log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click Incoming > Sound
- Click Add new sound.
- Click Select file then select the audio file you wish to upload.
- After selecting the file, click Save.
NOTE
- Audio files can be created using audio editing software or recording software such as Audacity.
- You can upload an audio file of up to 8MB.
- Create the audio file as a Wave (.wav), MP3 (.mp3), or M4A (.m4a) format. (For audio files with other formats, convert them to .wav or .mp3)
- If you want to input the audio file for incoming calls, you need to set up the incoming call rule. For details, please see Incoming Rule Management.
- After the audio file is uploaded, the sound quality is automatically adjusted to a format that can be played as the phone audio.
Change details of the audio file
You can edit the name and description of the audio file that has been uploaded to MiiTel Admin.
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click Incoming > Sound
- Click for the file you wish to edit > click Edit.
- After you finished editing, click Save.
Delete an audio file
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click Incoming > Sound
- Click for the file you wish to delete > click Delete.
- Click Delete on the confirmation screen.
IMPORTANT
- Deleting a sound setting will also delete the incoming call rules, incoming call filters, or queues that use that sound.
