Each user can set multiple phone numbers for outgoing calls. If you need to switch your phone number due to work reasons, you can use a prefix number or switch the caller ID on MiiTel Phone.
IMPORTANT
- To use this feature, you need to have permission to use multiple phone numbers. Please contact your organization's MiiTel administrator to confirm the prefix numbers and the numbers available to use.
How to change the caller ID
- Click Menu.
- Click Settings.
- Click Network settings.
- Select the circuit title (phone number) displayed in Caller ID.
- Click Save.
How to change the outgoing caller ID by Prefix number
If you add a prefix number and an asterisk (*) to the outgoing caller ID, you can make a call using the phone number associated with the prefix number.
For example, if the prefix number is "002" and the outgoing caller ID is "0300000000", enter "002*0300000000" to make a call.
The phone number whose prefix number is registered as "002" will be displayed as the destination of the call.
NOTE
- You can confirm the prefix number from Phone Number Management.
- Only users who have set the phone number for outgoing calls can use the prefix number.
