How to create a contact

By adding customer information to your MiiTel Analytics contacts, you can display the company name and other information in your call history.
You can use a CSV file exported from a spreadsheet or CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) to add company and contact names to MiiTel's contact list.

How to create 1 : Create contacts one by one

  1. In MiiTel Analytics [Contacts] __________2019-10-01_18.35.03.png.
  2. Click the + Create Contact button.

    Click the + Create Contact button.

  1. Fill out the "Create a Contact" form.

Name of the company you are doing business with (required field): company name, organization name, etc. Enter the organization name

Name of the person in charge of the business partner (required field): Enter the name of the person associated with the phone number to be registered

Phone Number (required field): Enter the phone number to be registered.

Category: Click the [+ Add Category] button. Click the [+ Add Category] button and set the category of the contact to be registered. Multiple settings are possible

To delete a created category, click the trash button at the right end of the category to delete it.

How to create 2 : Batch creation using CSV file

Importing a CSV file will allow you to batch add multiple contacts to your MiiTel Analytics contacts.

  1. In MiiTel Analytics [Contacts] __________2019-10-01_18.35.03.png.
  2. Click the "Import" button.

    Click the Import button.

  3. Click the [Select File] button in the [Select File] section and set the CSV file to import.

  1. Select the character encoding used for the CSV file to be imported.

If the automatic determination of the character encoding fails and an error message is displayed, please try uploading the file with the character encoding specified. Also, if you are using model dependent characters for categories, etc., set UTF-8.
  1. Set the separator used in the CSV file to import.

The CSV file should be structured as follows (in comma-separated format).

Format

Company name 1,Name of contact person 1,Phone number 1,Category 1-1|Category 1-2

  • Please enter the contact information from the first line, not including the header line.
  • The phone number can be used in either a hyphenated or non-hyphenated format.
  • To enumerate multiple categories, separate each category name with "|".

  • If the phone number is already in your contacts, it will be overwritten.
  • Since the contact information is imported from the first line, please enter the contact information from the first line without including the header line.
  • Do not use double quotation marks (") or single quotation marks (').
  • The maximum size that can be uploaded at one time is approximately 2 MB or 10,000 lines.
  • The maximum number of contacts that can be registered is 500,000 per organization.
  • Phone numbers can be uploaded with or without hyphens.
  • You can upload phone numbers in hyphenated or non-hyphenated format, but we recommend hyphenated format (string type) because some spreadsheet software may lose the 0 in phone numbers starting with 0.

How to create 3 : Add to contacts from call history

When you make an outgoing call to an unlisted phone number or receive an incoming call from an unlisted phone number, "Customer name unlisted" or "Contact person name unlisted" will appear in the call history. If you know the company name and the name of the person in charge again, it is convenient to register them in the following way so that the company name and the name of the person in charge will be displayed when you receive the call again.

  1. [Response history] __________2019-09-30_19.19.59_2.png and click on the history you want to add a contact to.
  2. Click the "Client Name Not Registered" or "Contact Name Not Registered" link that appears in blue on the screen.
  3. Fill in the "Client Name Not Registered" and "Contact Name Not Registered" fields and click the "Save" button.
