With MiiTel, calls can be received by groups. Follow the instructions on this page to set up a group, so that users in the group will be ready to pick up calls.
Create a group
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click User > User Group
- Click Add new user group.
- After you set the following, click Save.
1Group name: Enter the name of the group.
2Select ringtone: Select the ringtone you would like to play on the phone.
3Assign user to a group: Check the users you would like to include in the group.
NOTE
- You can not use these special characters for group name: ^ , \ " ( )
- You will not be able to change the ringtone for MiiTel Phone Mobile.

After you change the ringtone, reload your MiiTel Phone by pressing the following keys.
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
- Mac: Command + R
- For the ringtone, you can select from six different sounds (including the default sound).
- After you set the ringtone, you can do a test call on MiiTel Phone to check the sound.
- If there are multiple users, enter the Login ID, User name, or extension number in the search box to find the user.
- If you click on the name of each column for Login ID, User name, and Extension number, you can sort the users in descending or ascending order.
- When you make a new group, MiiTel will automatically set a four-digit of group number that is not duplicated with other group numbers. If you wish to change the group number, please edit by the instructions in Edit a group.
- In order for all users in the group to pick up the phone call, you would need to set up the incoming call rules. For more details, please check Incoming rule management.
Add users to a group
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click User > User Group
- Click [ ] located on the group you wish to add the user.
- Click Edit.
- Check the user you wish to add in the group from Assign user to a group.
- Click Save.
NOTE
- If there are multiple users, please use the search box and enter the Login ID, User name, or extension number to find the user.
- If you click on the name of each column for Login ID, User name, and Extension number, you can sort the users in descending or ascending order.
- For incoming calls made to a group, up to 80 MiiTel Phones can receive the phone call at once.
Edit a group
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click User > User Group
- Click [ ] located on the group you wish to edit > Click Edit.
- After you edit the group, click Save.
Delete a group
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click User > User Group
- Click [ ] located on the group you wish to delete and click Delete.
- Click Delete.
IMPORTANT
- If the deleted group is set in the incoming call rules, the action set for this deleted group will also be deleted.
