How to create or edit user accounts

This page provides instructions on creating new accounts and editing the account details.

If you wish to delete an account, please refer to Delete accounts.

  IMPORTANT

  •   If you wish to change the number of users for your contract, please contact your customer success representative or Support.
  •   After you create a new user account, you won't be able to use MiiTel Phone for about one hour with that account. Therefore, we recommend you create a new user account early to avoid delays in the tasks. 

How to create an account for a new user

  1. Log in to MiiTel Admin with administrator privileges.
  2. Click User > User List.
  3. Click Add new user.
  4. You can set each category displayed on the right side of the page.

  • Login ID: ID to access MiiTel
  • User name: Name displayed on the dashboard, call history, MiiTel Phone screens, etc. (User name is limited to 30 characters).
  • Password: Password for logging in to MiiTel
  • Locale: Language to be displayed on all MiiTel features.
  • Time zone: Currently, only JST (Japanese Standard Time) is available.
  • Role: User with Administrative privileges will have access to MiiTel Admin.

    Next, you will set the usage authority for each feature. Depending on if the user has to do phone calls using MiiTel Phone, you can set the usage authority for each service

How to edit account information

  1. Log in to MiiTel Admin with administrator privileges.
  2. Click User > User List.
  3. Click  ellipsis-v-light__1_.svg  for the specified user, then click Edit
  4. After you finished editing, click Save.
