Starting from January 25, 2024, if the user is in a call with MiiTel Phone or MiiTel Phone Mobile, their MiiTel Phone Mobile will not ring and the caller will be notified that the user is busy.

*Even if Accept incoming calls during calls is enabled for MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS, the user's phone will not ring and the caller will be notified that the user is busy.

Reasons for the specification changes

• These specifications are currently being set for the PC version of MiiTel Phone. To make our services stable, we have decided to update MiiTel Phone Mobile with the same specifications.
• To prevent MiiTel Phone Mobile from ringing during the middle of the call.
  • Many customers have requested for an update, so they can focus on the phone conversation.

Affected customers

• Customers who are using MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS
• Customers who are using MiiTel Phone Mobile for Android

We've made the following updates for incoming calls on MiiTel Phone Mobile.

• When a user is logged in to multiple MiiTel Phones and MiiTel Phone Mobile as the same user, and the user is on a call on one of the phones:
  
  • Before:
    The user's phone will accept incoming calls.
    The caller is asked to wait until the user is ready for the call.
  • After:
    The user's phone will not accept incoming calls.
    The user is notified that that the user is busy with another call.
• If the user is on a call with Accept incoming calls during calls enabled for MiiTel Phone Mobile for iOS and receives another incoming call:
  
  • Before:
    The user's phone will accept incoming calls.
    The caller is asked to wait until the user is ready for the call.
    After:
    The user's phone will not accept incoming calls.
    The user is notified that that the user is busy with another call.

Things that can occur after this update

• Case A
  MiiTel Phone for PC and MiiTel Phone Mobile are used by the same user:
  1. User A is logged in to the PC version of MiiTel Phone.
  2. User A is logged in to MiiTel Phone Mobile.
  • When user A receives an incoming call and the phone rings while user A is on a call by 1.
    Before: 
    MiiTel Phone Mobile will accept incoming calls.
    After:
    MiiTel Phone Mobile will not accept incoming calls.
• Case B
  The same user is logged in to MiiTel Phone Mobile with multiple smartphones:
  1. Smartphone #1: Login to MiiTel Phone Mobile as user A.
  2. Smartphone #2: Login to MiiTel Phone Mobile as user A.
  
  • When user A receives an incoming call and the phone rings while user A is on a call by 1.
    Before:
    MiiTel Phone Mobile will accept incoming calls.
    After:
    MiiTel Phone Mobile will not accept incoming calls.
• Case C
  You are using MiiTel Phone Mobile with Accept incoming calls during calls enabled:
  
  • If you receive another incoming call during a call
    Before:
    MiiTel Phone Mobile will accept incoming calls.
    After:
    MiiTel Phone Mobile will not accept incoming calls.
