Announcement: We'll be changing the specifications for Salesforce activity history integration

From January 11, 2024, activity history can now be created even if there are no Salesforce records related to the call history. With this update, Salesforce activity history will also be created for missed calls.

Examples of Salesforce activity histories that can be created from this update:

  • History of an incoming call with a new customer that is not related to a Salesforce record at the time of the call.
  • History of a missed call from a new customer that is not related to a Salesforce record.
  • History of an outgoing call with a new customer that is not related to a Salesforce record.

All customers who are using Salesforce activity history integration.

Details

Before:

If there are no Salesforce records related to the call history, a Salesforce activity history will not be created.

After:

Even if there are no Salesforce records related to the call history, a Salesforce activity history will be created. (In this case, the Related to and Name will be left blank in the Salesforce activity history)

  NOTE

  •   For call histories with related Salesforce records, a Salesforce activity history will be created with the current specifications.
  •   For activity histories without a related Salesforce record, the following Salesforce users can check the histories.
    ・Assigned user of the Salesforce activity history.
    ・Salesforce users who have higher roles than the assigned user.
    ・Salesforce users with system administration privileges.
