Before you start using the Video Bot on Zoom

Inviting the Video Bot to the Zoom meeting will allow the Bot to record the meeting for you. After the recording is finished, the recording will automatically be saved and analyzed in Video Analytics.

For the user to use the Video Bot, a MiiTel administrator would need to set usage permission to the user. Before you get started, check this page for setting details.

  Permissions or subscriptions required

  • To use this feature, you would need to subscribe to MiiTel Meetings and Bot. For more details, please contact your sales representative or customer success.
  • Only users with administrative privileges can change the settings.

  IMPORTANT

  •   Zoom Webinars are not supported.
  •   We recommend you set the meeting participant's name the same as the MiiTel user name. If the names are the same, the MiiTel user name will be displayed in the participant's speech analysis results. (You do not need to manually enter the name.)

Enable the use of the Video Bot

  1. Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
  2. Click Open MiiTel Admin cog-solid on the top right of the page.

  3. Click User > User List.
  4. Click ellipsis-v-light for the user who will use Bot > Edit.
  5. For MiiTel Meetings, check the following boxes.
    ・ Enable
    ・ Use bot
  6. Click Save.

Enable local recording

In the meeting host's Zoom user settings, the local recording must be enabled for the host and participants. To enable the recording, follow the steps below.

  1. Visit https://zoom.us/ and sign in. (If you are already signed in, click My Account)
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
  3. Click Recording tab.
  4. Turn on Record to computer files.
  5. Click Save.
